Parties

The contract concluded between the Client and SC SELF INF SERV SRL. By Client we understand a person or a group of persons who operates a reservation under the website www.authenticromaniamoments.com. Validity of the contract begins upon receipt a written reservation from Client. SC SELF INF SERV SRL may transfer or subcontract any or all rights and obligations under these terms and conditions at any time. The contract between Client and SC SELF INF SERV SRL is a consumer contract, we do not accept any liability for any business loss caused by the unsatisfactory fulfillment of your Service order.

Introductory statement

Accepting and using the website www.authenticromanianmoments.com, you accept automatically the terms and conditions below, applicable to all users of this website. This website is owned and operated by SC SELF INF SERV SRL. Please read carefully these terms and conditions before making your booking. By making a booking with us:

  • You confirm that you are 18 years old or over
  • Personal details provided by you for the purpose of purchasing the Service from our company are correct. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from providing incorrect details.

This agreement complies with Romanian laws. If any provision or term of these terms and conditions shall become or be declared illegal, invalid or unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, such term or provision shall be deleted but the remaining provisions shall continue with full effect. Unless stated otherwise in this contract, should there be any inconsistency between this contract and any other terms and conditions on our web page or documents, this contract is to be considered valid. For any possible debates or questions not covered by this contract, the laws of Romania shall have effect.

Tours

Our tours are operated according to the description presented on the website. Transport will be provided with minibuses, according description. All our attendants’ guides are English speaking guides. By making a tour reservation you acknowledge the fact that you will have your own seat/s and will be travelling together with other tourists. Our tours are organized in the days and within the opening hours of the visited sites (castles, palaces, monuments, museums, etc) and we do our best to ensure that they will be open for visitors at the moment you arrive, but we are not responsible in case these sites are closed for visitors due to unforeseen reasons and without prior notice while the tour is taking place.

Booking condition

A non-refundable deposit of 20% is due at the moment of booking. Payment will be made based on a proforma invoice issued upon confirmation booking, by direct transfer to our account. The balance due must be paid through the same method at least 3 weeks before tour departure. Cash payment is accepted only for extra services during tours and can be made only in RON, EURO or USD. Client is required to provide their correct contact data: mobile phone and e-mail contact. If you did not receive your confirmation message, please check your spam, junk or bulk folders of your email. If you still don’t have it please call us. Should you fail to provide us a mobile number and an e-mail address where we can contact you at, we do not take any responsibility for notifying you about possible changes. We will not be liable for any losses and expenses you may have, should you fail to notify us about your confirmation not having been received.

Booking confirmation

A email confirmation will be send to you after your booking, within the mentioned time (2-4 days). If you did not receive your confirmation message, please check your spam or junk or bulk folders of your confirmation comprising: your full name and email contact, name of the requested tour, date of the tour, number of tourists, amount to be paid, details regarding next steps of the reservation. We will not be liable for any services that failed to be fulfilled because the Clients did not read the information and solve the necessary steps.

Client responsibilities

Please notify us as soon as possible if you cancel or change your tour. Please notify us as soon as possible if your travel data, as flight, change. If you cannot be reaching by our guide on the meeting point please contact us as soon as possible on provided emergency number. Please notify us for any health problem, specific dietary or any other matter that may affect the smooth running of your booking tour with us. We will not be liable for any services that failed to be fulfilled because the Clients did not send all necessary information on their confirmation. If the Service had to be cancelled or modified because of force major events (force majeure), we will do our best to notify you as soon as we can. However, in such cases, we cannot take responsibility for any losses you may suffer. If our company cannot provide you with the service you ordered due to the fault of our employees or suppliers, we will refund to you the price paid for the ordered service. In this case our liability will be limited to the price of the booked Service.

Other clauses

Prices

By making a reservation clients have to pay the prices enlisted on our website at the time of their booking. Should these prices change between the date of booking and the travel date in any way, this price difference has no influence on the valid bookings whatsoever, and also serves no ground for any claim.

Cancellation

After the confirmation, any cancellation will be charged with a cancellation fee of 100% of the whole deposit paid. Moreover, in order to cancel your booking, please send us an email. If you do not get a confirmation of your cancellation by email please call us. We are not responsible if your email message did not reach us. Cancellation conditions will be clearly specified for each and every booking. Any cancellation made within the last 14 days will be charged with a cancellation fee of 100% of the whole amount paid.

Change your booking

Due to the specificity of our tours (specific accommodation venues with a limited rooms number), if your booking details change, you can amend your booking up to 3 weeks prior to your departure. All requests should be sent to our e-mail address. We will do our best to provide you an alternative service for your changed booking details, but we cannot guarantee that all variation requests will be accepted.

Luggage

Our tours fee includes the transportation of one piece of hand baggage per person. Please inform us in advance if you travel with baggage that exceeds this limitation in size and/or quantity, as the capacities of vehicles are limited. We do not accept responsibility for any damage or loss in your luggage.

Behavior

We reserve the right to refuse boarding (or interrupt trip) to any person under the following condition:

  • attempts to smoke or consume alcohol in the vehicle
  • is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • whose behavior is disruptive in any way and/or affects the passengers’ safety or that of the driver of the vehicle
  • act in any way that is prohibited by the laws in Romania

Claims

Any complain about a problem encountered with the service provided, will be sent in writing by our email address within 30 days of the return booking day. It will be also accompanied by the reservation booking. Failure to notify us of your complaint within 30 days does affect our ability to investigate the matter complained of, and therefore we cannot accept complaints for services later than 30 days. We will not be responsible for any claim arising as a result of any event or circumstance that we or the supplier(s) of the service in question could not have predicted or prevented. This may include an occurrence of force major. We cannot accept any responsibility for delays reasonable or unavoidable, caused by the nature of our services. If the service delivered by us is not what you ordered or is not performed due to the fault of our employees or suppliers, we will refund to you the price paid for the ordered service. If your claim for reimbursement is accepted as rightful, the reimbursement of the amount paid will be transferred to your account within max 60 days from the receipt of your necessary bank details.

Confidentiality

In order to process your booking we need to collect certain personal details from you: name, address and telephone number and special requirements such as those relating to any disability or medical condition which may affect the chosen booking. In order to process your order we may share your information with our suppliers or other involved third party. We may share provided information with our suppliers in order to fulfillment of your travel arrangements. We take responsibility to keep confidential all information provided by you and necessary to us in order to fulfill your travel arrangements. By accepting our terms and condition you do not object to our doing any of the things mentioned above, even without notifying you in advance, unless you tell us otherwise in writing.
